About Heteraspis dillwyni
This observation is filed as Heteraspis dillwyni. The identification is not precise enough for species-level claims, so details should be checked against the photographs. Beetles belong to Coleoptera; their hardened forewings, called elytra, protect the flight wings and abdomen.
